Structure is a folder tree covering hardware, licences and certificates alike. Everything starts at Root, and you build whatever sites or departments you need underneath it (for example Head Office → Engineering, Finance, HR; IT Infrastructure → Network Equipment, Servers) — there are no pre-made folders. It's a way to organise where things physically or logically sit, separate from tags, which describe what an item is rather than where it lives. This is distinct from the MSP layer's client organisations — see MSP & Multi-Client for how managing separate client companies works.

Open Organise → Structure
Shows the current folder tree on the left and everything inside the selected folder on the right — hardware, licences and certificates in one list, each row labelled with its kind. Filter to a single kind with the item dropdown.

Create and nest folders
Build out folders under Root to match your sites or departments, nested as deep as you need. A folder can't be moved inside its own subtree, and deleting a folder that still holds items or child folders asks you where to move them first — nothing is silently orphaned.

Move items into a folder
Set an item's folder from its own Identity section when creating or editing it, or move existing ones without leaving the list: "Move to Folder" in any row's actions menu, or select several rows and use Bulk Actions → Move Selected. Both work on the Hardware, Licences and Certificates lists and on Structure itself, where a selection can mix all three kinds.
