Using Tag Actions

Turn a tag selection into bulk operations.

5 min read

Tag Actions (Organise → Tag Actions) lets you select one or more tags and treat everything matching as a single scoped set — with statistics and bulk operations you'd otherwise have to do item by item.

  1. 01

    Select one or more tags

Choose Any (OR) or All (AND) match logic depending on whether you want items with at least one selected tag, or every selected tag at once.

  2. 02

    Review the selection stats

You'll see the total item count broken down by hardware/licences/certificates, the combined asset value, and a composition breakdown by health status and type.

  3. 03

    Run a bulk action

Open the matched items in a filtered table, add or remove a tag across all of them, assign or unassign a person as owner, assign or unassign a device (for device-mode licences and certificate deployments), or export the selection as CSV. Every bulk write confirms first, telling you exactly how many hardware, licences and certificates it will touch and what changes as a result. Folder moves, status changes and deletions live on the Hardware, Licences and Certificates lists rather than here.

    Generate a scoped report

"Report on this selection" builds a branded PDF covering only the items in your current tag selection — useful for a specific client handover or asset category. Pick from the Client QBR Pack, Asset Inventory, Renewals & Expiries, Subscription & Spend or Hardware Lifecycle.
